Pain Points

The problem:

Moviegoers don’t want to stand in line and wait for snacks. People with language barriers want to enjoy snacks without having to repeat themselves while ordering.

The goal:

Find out if all users can order snacks with ease and not have to stand in line. Also, can they order without any language barriers?

Interviews were conducted and empathy maps were created. The research provided a user group who wanted to get snacks without having to wait in line.

This user group expressed challenges with attending the movies and trying to get snacks before it started but not waiting in line was not the only issue. Some other users with language barriers expressed having to repeat themselves when ordering.

The Snackz+ app helps users make snack selections with ease and not having to wait in lines.

“This app is a lifesaver no more waiting in line and missing the trailers for the new movies.”

What I learned:

What I learned from creating Snackz+ app is that ideas change every second and that’s ok. What I thought was simple someone else may see as difficult or just may have another way to do it.

Next Steps

Review the app to make sure all pain points have been addressed.

Conduct additional interviews for more insight on what may be needed for the app.

Create an updated high-fidelity prototype to address any additional add-ons from users.
